The Unknown Beauty Of The 80's Vol. 106

Postby Rissan » Fri Jun 05, 2020 7:10 am

I can't help it or even resist it. Call it an addiction but just four days ago I told you that 105 would be the last for awhile. Fortuantly during the week it turned out that I had so much stuff left over that I surprise you with another one this weekend. To be honest I am really pleased with this one, since I find the artists and songs presented here are of a very high level. It's a volume filled with tracks from all over the world. From Canada to France, From Scotland to the US. I even present to you a song from the Slovenian New Wave/Synthpop band Videosex. A variety of songs from 1980 to 1990, since I couldn't resits to put on the great coldwave track Come Into Hell And Murder Hate by Babel 17. Enjoy nearly 80 minutes of New Wave, Synthpop, Indie Rock, Alternative Rock, Cold Wave and Pop Rock.

The Tracks:

01. Urban Verbs - Subways (3:42)
02. Frōzen Ghōst - Pauper In Paradise 94:41)
03. Digney Fignus - The Girl With The Curious Hand (2:40)
04. Babel 17 - Come Into Hell And Murder Hate (5:27)
05. Videosex - Moja Mama (3:46)
06. In Embrace - The Living Daylights (4:04)
07. Little Nemo - New Flood (4:15)
08. Mary Goes Round - Mary's Garden (2:47)
09. The World - I'm Sorry (3:54)
10. Out On Blue Six - Party Mood (2:41)
11. No Right No Wrong - Modern Persuasion (3:14)
12. Yo La Tengo - The River Of Water (2:30)
13. Ignatius Jones - It's No Reason (5:22)
14. The Impolight - Oh Baby Oh (5:17)
15. Airkraft - Moving Target (3:09)
16. First Man Over - It's Happening (3:57)
17. Spencer Spencer - I Think It's Raining (3:35)
18. FX - Will It Always Be (the same) (5:21)
19. A.S. Anova - Motivation Termination Dance (3:59)
20. The Cat Club - One Last Kiss (3:52)

Really glad you have chosen Videosex.
They were major players on the ex-yu synthpop scene and 1984.g. was definitely their year
when they released two of their most important studio albums.
I would have chosen a different track, though, but thats just me.

:)
