What can you tell me about Azed?

Postby Radtech1 » Sun Oct 11, 2020 8:32 am

I was listening to one of the "Lost But Not Forgotten" compilations and found a song called "Filters", attributed to a band/artist called Azed.

Brand new favorites! But I know nothing about them.

Can anybody provide any history?

Thanks!

Wow, thanks. Sad to see it appears to be just the single. I was SOOO hoping for a vast diskography. Oh well.

Also, glad to learn about the name. Part of me was thinking it was an "A - Z" reference.

Hello Rad, glad you enjoyed the B-side track to the only single Azed released. He was a local Toronto artist and the A-side “Origins Of Consensus” received a fair bit of air-play on CFNY, Chum FM and college radio. Dave and I had the privilege of meeting Azed in the early 90s I believe somewhere in Don Mills where he gave us 3 or 4 copies of his record. It was an extremely difficult record to find even back then! I Remember him being ever so kind! If you missed it on my Digital 80s series, here is the A-side “Origins Of Consensus”!

Enjoy!
