What do you know...I have the Baby Buddha lp on vinyl as well; Picked it up only three years ago, based on remembering it from a Posh Boy ad in one of the early 80's Trouser Press issues. Also have the Los Microwaves Life after breakfast lp mentioned in

Yes I have that one by Silicon Teens - - they ARE similar lps as they both are a synth act doing a lot of covers of 'oldies', with some oddball originals thrown in. Silicon Teens was actually a one-man act, the founder the founder of the Mute label, if I

Silicon Teens had 2 singles and the LP "Music For Parties". It was Daniel Miller aka The Normal (Warm Leatherette / TVOD).

Another similar band was The Flying Lizards... lots of quirky electronic covers of old songs.

I had Telex's "Looking for St tropez", "Sex", and "Neurovision" lps years ago and lost them in a breakup with a girlfriend. I've been able to replace Neurovision (sealed copy off of ebay for $11US) but the other 2 are proving very difficult to find.
