The UK version of the first album by Freur has on it 2 12'' mixes as bonus tracks if you bought it on tape (I did) 'Doot Doot' and 'Matters Of The Heart' this was re-issued here in about 1996 with the same extra tracks. Also in many publications at the t

There are 2 versions of the Freur album Doot Doot available on CD. The Sony version has the 12" mixes mentioned above. The Oglio version has a couple of mixes from later on which really should be extras on the second album "Get us out of here".

No I don't think so. Rick Smith & Karl Hyde were in a synthpop band called "The Screen Gems" in '87 between Freur and Underworld but I don't think they recorded anything.
