More old styled Swing than rockabilly - awesome first album. They were about 20 years too early for the swing revival.
I hear they were pressured to release a more pop album after Cookin on the Roof, then broke up.

Yeah, Roman Holliday was definitely Swing Revival. <I>Cookin On The Roof[/i] has a few catchy tunes on it, including "Stand By" and "IOU".
It's available on CD as a somewhat pricey Japanese import.

"Don't Try to Stop It" probably got the most airply by me. Three pretty signature songs off a pretty obscure album, which is now available on remaster at your favorite online purveyors.

Roman Holiday went on to record a more 'rock' (think something like the two guys in Stray Cats doing 'Phantom Rocker and Slick') record and faded into possibly-deserved obscurity.
But to me the 1st lp with 'Stand By' and 'Don't try to stop it' is gre

I noticed they had three charting hits in the USA
Don't Try To Stop It - #68 on the pop charts in 1983
Stand By - #54 on the pop charts in 1983
One Foot In The Back Of The Door - #76 on the pop charts in 1985
