I just got this Manchester motormouth's Greatest Hits cd--I've been meaning to check him out for years and years now---I'm glad I did! His poetry is amazingly hysterical and biting! Does anyone know where he's been in the past 20 years???

Oh cool thanks Hutter! My God how tall is he--he looks like he's 8 feet tall lanky mutha! He really is a fantastic poet...

I don't usually recommend this (I'm a healthy eating kind of guy) but Mr. Clarke really needs to eat a hamburger(or 4) once in awhile.

Been a fan ever since I saw him in URGH! A Music War about 1982. He's still performing, and was interviewed in the documentary Punk:Attitude. He looks really old but the sense of humor is still there.

I guess I'm the odd man out. As much as liked all the Manchester folks from back then like Durutti Column, Joy Division, etc, Clarke never resonated with me. His message/delivery combination sounds very dated, and I find it very grating. I'd just as soon listen to Abby Hoffman. I really tried to give him a try, but nothin'. His bit in Urgh is just something to fast-forward through IMHO.
