A few more dates left on his tour before he heads to Europe:

Fri 03/07/08 Cambridge, MA Middle East Restaurant & Nightclub
Sat 03/08/08 Baltimore, MD The 8X10
Mon 03/10/08 Cleveland, OH Grog Shop
Tue 03/11/08 Saint Louis, MO Off Broadway Nightclub
Wed 03/12/08 Chicago, IL Abbey Pub
Thu 03/13/08 Madison, WI Orpheum Stage Door Theatre
Fri 03/14/08 Minneapolis, MN Cedar Cultural Center
Sat 03/15/08 Omaha, NE The Waiting Room
Sun 03/16/08 Lincoln, NE Knickerbockers
Tue 03/18/08 Denver, CO Lion's Lair
Thu 03/20/08 Salt Lake City, UT Kilby Court

I caught him last night at the Middle East Upstairs - capacity 190. [:p]

Sold out and I didn't have a ticket but scored one outside. Also saw him walking by on Mass Ave, flagged him down, asked how he was doing, he just shakes my hand, starts smiling and nodding in his quirky way, get's me laughing, he starts laughing, I start laughing hysterically. The guy's a mad genious. Incredibly funny and engaging show. Highlights for me were "Pablo Picasso" and "Her Mystery Not of High Heels and Eye Shadow". Couple other songs about Boston had the loacl crowd really going (not Roadrunner though, although he worked in the "Stop n Shop" lyrics at some point). Fantastic night. The midwest folks should check him out.

Nice link. This part is funny...

“Jonathan Richman… does not participate in the Internet on any level”

...because I was talking about this exact thing with a couple guys I was drinking with last night. There's really scant JR info out there. I guess all the collected titles of his songs could be taken as some sort of warped autobiography about what he's all about, but I don't know if even that can be taken at face value. Take "I'm Not Gay" for example - who knows.
