Wow. I hope they expand this ala Yaz.

This could be good or very bad. Although they may not have played all of New Gold Dream, the tracks on In the City of Light were unbelievably horrid!!

I usually love when bands play entire albums live. I would love to see Simple Minds play that album. The first time I saw them live was after the 'Sparkle in the Rain' album, which was the beginning of the end.

I'd love to see this show as well. I first saw them on the Once Upon A Time tour, by which time Jim was deep into his Bono impersonation phase.

I did think "Street Fighting Years" was a really good comeback album though.

Ditto!!! That "Tour Du Mond" tour was most excellent! China Crisis rocked the house, and Simple Minds just blew the roof off the Hollywood Palladium that night. I was a sweat (in bullet--heh!) ball, and so was my sister and some friends that went with us. What a concert, SM when they performed live was like hearing an extended extended version of their songs, they worked their seductive magical beats into a frenzied wall of sound with guitar/bass/synth/drums that just kicked major ass! And then they went No. 1 in the U.S. and all was downhill from there; IMHO.

Not to change topic, but I saw China Crisis live a handful of times and they were always a great treat. Very talented live performers.

I wish I would have seen them on the "Flaunt" tour, as Im sure they had the whole band --horns etc...when I saw them it was just Gary and Eddie...keyboard, drum machine --guitar and oboe(?)
