Tuesday night was one of the times I looked forward to the most on WLIR. The radio concerts offered something different for everybody, every week.

Here are some WLIR concert requests; I'd practically kill for some of these:
Echo & the Bunnymen (Ocean Rain tour)
Paul Young
Blancmange
China Crisis (Malibu concert, 1987)
Erasure (at The Ritz, 1985?)
Simple Minds (sparkle in the rain tour)
Back in the day I had some of these concerts on cassette, but over time they've been lost or damaged.
