Happy New Year to all OMD fans! 2007 will see the long-awaited OMD reunion concerts as they perform their classic album Architecture & Morality in May.

OMD will also be recording a live appearance on the French TV show Taratata in Paris on 11th January performing Enola Gay and Souvenir. This will also feature all four members of the band performing.

I am so GOING! Can't wait to see A+M all over again! Although the venue will probally be much bigger than the theatre I saw them in... I also really enjoyed The Units who were the opening act back then!

waves of envy are washing over me....this would be my alltime show to have seen......

I hope they play the A+M thing here....

can't wait for that tour, kind of dreams come true for me, especially if they really do Architecture in its entirety.
the show in Hamburg is already moved to a way bigger venue...

Here's some info I received via OMD's email regarding the US.

OMD TOURING AMERICA
OMD are not performing their Architecture & Morality tour in America. There are however, plans to perform in the US in 2008 with the Energy Suite (this is the music that OMD are writing for the OMD/Peter Saville art installation.

OMD Revisit Old Architecture

80’s sythn legends Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark, more commonly known as OMD, has announced three special UK shows in May where they will perform their 1981 classic album Architecture And Morality in its entirety

The original line up of Andy McCluskey, Paul Humphreys, Mal Holmes and Martin Cooper will play Glasgow’s Clyde Auditorium on May 15, Liverpool’s Empire the following night (16), and London’s Hammersmith Apollo on May 18. Tickets for all the shows go on sale Friday January 25.

Virgin/EMI will release a special deluxe double pack CD and DVD of a digitally re-mastered Architecture and Morality on April 30 along with a live DVD of the band performing at Drury Lane Theatre in 1981.
OMD’s last studio album Universal made number 24 back in September 1996.

well, somehow they now decided against it but far better, as it means an additional gig in hamburg on the 28th may...
