...in Wallingford Connecticut? WTF?! Just saw this on local listings. I assumed it was part of some special tour of The Great White Trash Towns of America. But when I search, the only other place they're playing is in Chicago on 12/14. This has me flummoxed.

I've heard rumors that their "live" show is almost all tapes, so you might be better off just getting the album and listening to it at home.

I'm going to 2 of the NYC shows, and no, they aren't pulling a Milli Vanilli on us. I've seen them a few times, and theyre legit.

Gotta agree w/Chris, they're bad ass live. Saw them for Inland Invasion 2003, and they kicked major ass, and were ALL live. Their show was almost as good as The Cure's.

There appear to be plenty of great seats for the Wallingford warm-up, all at a significantly lower price ($55 and down). I guess Sunday and Monday nights are just too much for us funsies in the hinterlands. Great opportunity though. Check out the cool interactive seating chart...

I have to agree as well - I saw them on the Astronaut tour in Toronto and I didn't really expect much, but they were very entertaining. I don't recall much in the way of taped effects either.

Saw then on the Seven and the Ragged Tiger tour. They were great! The Kinks opened up for them, believe it or not!

Just saw Duran in Austin....great show, lots of energy, and great performance, even the new songs came off great. Crappy venue though.

The Austin Music Hall was the venue and it sucks. They say that it's the first concert since being renovated....they should have waited longer. The place still needed more work outside and the place is just a concert box with no room to move around in, and pray that you're not short or else you won't see the show too well. The parking was horrible too, but it was a Christmas gift from my mother-in-law for my wife and me, so a good time was still had from the show itself.

Nice! I was actually in town but had to leave Austin yesterday and heard about this as I was listening to 101X. I hear that they at least put in more bars - sorely lacking last time I was in there. Not that you can really make use of the bar if you get a good position on the floor - who can afford to lose their spot to get a drink or even pee!
