Postby oldnewwaver » Thu Nov 22, 2007 9:56 am

according to the L A Times, Sparks will play an unprecedented series of concerts by playing complete sets of all 20 of their albums in a row from May to June in London in celebation of their 21st album release!
I hope they put this out on DVD or highlights at least

Why always in London? Why can't they ever do any dates in the states?

I wish they would tour the US

Maybe if ticket sales go over well in the UK they may bring the Sparks to the states

I would most definitely attend the Terminal Jive and Angst shows

Thank you,
Justin

I'm going to every show and they have all been fantastic. Their synth period starts tomorrow night with Number One In Heaven, that is going to be so great.

Any updates BigMan? A few friends have just reported back after the Gratuitous Sax and Plagiarism nights. They were just about in sheer ecstasy. Raved about the Jimmy Sommerville duet on the big orchestral version of "Number 1 Song in Heaven" as well. What an absolute tour de force. I don't know what other band would possibly go to the massive effort to practice all those songs and all those arrangements and rearrangements for one night each. Absolutely fucking amazing. Seething with jealousy.

Anyone check out the live stream? The one afternoon I remembered, it didn't come up.
