5. Editors - Fine Line, MN
4. Bird with Mark Burgess, Elysium, TX
3. British Sea Power - Maxwells, NJ
2. Buzzcocks - Stubbs, TX
1. Arcade Fire - Judson Memorial Church, NY, absolutely epic venue...

Interesting footnote to Arcade Fire was that we caught Marc Bolan's son, Roland, earlier that night at Joe's Pub, covering "Mambo Sun" with The Bongos. Quite a charismatic young man. Amazing evening all around.

Holy crap, I forgot all about this one...darned that lack of short-term memory. I also forgot about Morrissey just recently. Those two would definitely be top 5 for me...I might even slide out Editors and BSP for 'em.

Nice. This guy is surprisingly engaging. The old traveling guitarist from Pulp I believe, making good on his own.

didn't attend too many gigs in 2007 - but my fave one is pretty easy - OMD Architecture & Morality Tour that was simply excellent, never expected that reunion to really happen....

The Clientele - Museum of Fine Arts, Boston MA
Billy Bragg - Calvin Theater, Northampton MA
David Kilgour - TT the Bear's, Boston MA
Camera Obscura - Pearl Street, Northampton MA
Gruff Rhys - Museum of Fine Arts, Boston MA
Crowded House - Calvin Theater, Northampton MA
Robyn Hitchcock & the Venus 3 - Iron Horse, Northampton MA

that's seven, but they were all good.

Morrissey would've been on the list, but fuck him, the bastard.

There's only two that spring to mind:

1. Devo
2. The Selector

The worst was Hazel O'Connor. No stage presence, buggered off the stage when finished singing and hearing her hits arranged for the flute and accoustic guitar and harp was unusual. I'm not a fan of Irish folk music and this didn't do anything to change that.
