So I see Pal Shazar and I go to talk to her and all and I go "Pal, you're like one of the, uh, greatest musicians, uh, rock musicians. I guess, songwriter, ever. GOD! That sounds stupid! God, I'm an idiot! I never know how to start these things!"
So Pal goes "No, no, you're doing great Blir."
Then I go "Really? No, I'm not. You, um, you.. you remember when you were with Slow Children?"
So Pal's like "Yeah, sure."
Then I go "They were awesome!"
So then Pal goes "Yeah, we were okay."
So then I go "O-kay.. Oh! You.. you remember when you went you had that cool record Mad About Town?"
So Pal goes, "Um, yeah, sure, of course Blir. And?"
So then I go "IDIOT!! That's so stupid! What a stupid question!!"
So Pals then goes "No, no, no, Blir. I get asked that all the time in interviews. Maria Shriver asked the same question last week."
So then I go "Really? Did you know that she's married to Arnold Schwartzenegger?"
Pal: "Yeah. I've heard that."
Blir: "Did you see Terminator?
Pal: "No, I missed that one."
Blir: "That was a pretty awesome flick. Okay.. you remember when you were with Slow Children, and you played all those clubs in LA and I'd go to the concerts and you played with that Andrew Chinich guy?"
Pal: "Yeah. I was, uh, there."
Blir: "Right. Me too! I think we.. I think we got time for one more question. Uh.. remember when you were in Slow Children? And, um, you did that album, um, Slow Children, and in that one song, it would.. the song was called, President Am I. Remember that?"
Pal: "Yes."
Blir: "Uh.. did you know there's this guy with a web site and, uh, he's like the president of the web site and he calls himself President Am I. I think that's totally cool."
Pal: "Yes.. yes Blir, that's pretty cool."
Blir: "AWESOME! Well, that's all my questions. Thank you, Pal Shazar, thank you, for being one of the greatest.. of rock.. I mean, a living legend. And uh, a legend of rock and roll.. and.. just thanks for talking to me, and.. GOD DANGIT! That sounded stupid! I'm such screw up!"
Pal: "You did fine, you did fine Blir."
