Weezer, one of the best bands of the 90s is ending their career. [:(]Well... we'll have to see what's gonna happen in Cuomo's future... the guy is a genius.

ah bummer.

Not that I'm a big Weezer fan, but I think they're definitely one of the better bands of the 90s. Their first album was solid, from beginning to end.

This bites hard. Any band that had Animal fill in on drums has my love and respect.

Sorry, paw...I just...really hated those guys.
And sorry too for my lover from afar who is mourning the loss...but man..that was a classic comeback.

Frayo.. it doesn´t matter that you don´t like Weezer... diversity is what makes the world interesting. [;)]

Wow, this is sad news indeed. I'm glad I got the opportunity to see them perform at the Central Park Summer Stage back in the mid nineties. Great show. News of Weezer's break up comes of course on the heels of Rivers Cuomo's recent announcement that he'll be marrying his girlfriend Kyoto Ito in L.A. after he earns his undergraduate English degree from Harvard. To his fiancee's relief, Cuomo, who was a stalwart celibate for two years, is'nt anymore.
