I think I just threw up in my mouth a little.

Then the twist....it was his girlfriends dog, hopefully, when the story is told later, it will be his ex-girlfriend. That will be a tough one for her to live down.

The article didn't say if the guy was hopped up on drugs. Then again, I don't think that would matter as he lives in Michigan anyway.

BTW: a dead dog w/in view of a day care center for three days is ok, whereas by the fourth day it becomes just ridiculous enough to warrant a call?

I remember the "agitated sheep" too! We must have been at UW at the same time.

Didn't know you went to UW. I had an abbreviated stay, 88-89. Looking forward to some Husky basketball.

Did you hit the local clubs while you were at U-Dub?

I was a married grad student '90-'95. Didn't hit any clubs, but saw a few friends of friends' really bad grunge bands in really bad bars. I saw a few cool bands at the Bumpershoot festival - Chris Isaak, Crowded House, They Might Be Giants.

Hey Scramjet, I didn't know you went to the UW. I was there 7 straight years, undergrad through law, 84-91. Then I moved away from Seattle right when pop culture discovered it.

There is an interesting legal twist on our local dog story.

Washington, like many states, has a dual marital privilege: First, one spouse can't be forced to testify against the other without the other's consent (classic B-movie scam of marry the witness so she can't testify against you). Second, neither spouse can testify about confidential communications that took place during the marriage, even if they are divorced by the time of trial. The purpose of these privileges is to protect the sanctity of marriage [;)]

Anyway, there's an exception to these rules for domestic violence against the spouse or either spouse's child, but it doesn't include crimes against the family pet!

So, even assuming that they get divorced (and jeez, who wouldn't dump him?), the prosecution will still have to prove that confidential marital communications weren't involved!

<br>Hee hee, yes, I was at UWLaw at the time and remember the coverage in the campus newspaper. My college boyfriend, a Clash-loving frat boy, swore that copulation with an animal was part of the initiation rites of a major national fraternity.

Omigaw, I remember that!! [:0] My best friend who went to UW sent me a copy of the UW paper with that article in it. Ewwww! Many of my friends went to UW; alas, I wanted to, as I went to high school in Lacey. But I had to move in the middle of my Senior Year to Alaska. I was considered a resident of AK (long story), and could not afford the tuition at UW. Ack!

And now the authorities are proposing that the DOG be euthanized.

http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/l ... ll25m.html

Sad to say, a pit bull raised by a dirtbag like this guy is probably not going to be the best-behaved dog, but let's hope the victim doesn't get whacked here.

They should force the guy to get a blowjob from an unfamiliar pitbull.

I think the guy's onto something, like this being an underhanded way of enforcing the leash law.

Why would they euthanize the dog?[?] Maybe he has a taste for man cock now and they can't have him running around?

This whole topic reminds me of the very first joke I ever heard from one of the greatest comics around, Robert Schimmel ...

"I read today that a guy got arrested for animal necrophilia. How do you plead your case for something like that? 'Gee, Your Honor, I thought the cat was still alive when I was f*cking him."
