Hi all
I know I've mentioned my '68 Toronado in the forum, and since I'm auctioning it off on Nov. 24th / 25th at http://www.icaauctions.com/gilbertinfo.htm I thought I'd let you see it before it goes on the block (in case anyone ever wanted to own a '68 Toronado). Below is the email I sent to the auction a few minutes ago.
Here is a web gallery for the '68 Olds Toronado

1968 Oldsmobile Toronado. 86,850 miles. The body is in beautiful condition, with a 455 4-bbl engine, the car is like a rocket with a seat. I've had some work on the mechanical system to get it running great. Paint looks pretty darn nice. I get a lot of heads turning when I drive, and people asking me "what is that" and "what year is that" as well as comments like "that is beautiful."
New on the car: Exhaust system rebuilt - dual Dynomax Super Turbo, Transmission, Cooling system, Brakes - front & rear, Newly chromed bumpers (front and back), Tires (235 - 75R 15), Battery, Beautiful set of honeycomb grilles (both excellent condition).
The car is 38 years old and there are a few Items that need repair or work: The A/C needs charging. The Wonderbar radio in great condition, but is not putting out any sound (can be fixed). 8-Track player is there but no sound either. Cut in driver's side armrest. A very small crack in passengers armrest. Drivers seat could use some additional padding (it's not too bad). Vacuum pump to raise headlight grills is not working at the moment (this is a recent development) and would need to be fixed for night driving. Two of the six interior lights work.
best,
Dan
