Interesting. I suddenly have a squirrel in my back yard.
I think he may have hitched a ride back from New York in my suitcase [:D] as they are not a common sight here. Do I have reason to worry??????? Are they going to do any damage?

Hahahahaha! I saw this today & wondered if someone would post it considering philly's & my incessant ranting about those little grey bastards!

I'm really suprised they're just getting around to studying squirrel habits. It's not like they just moved to America!

At least it reinforces that I've made the right decision in returning to school for zoology! Perhaps I should apply for a grant to fund my pillbug study...[:D]

You don't have to sell me on this. They are really smart. I have an ongoing war with my locals. One even waited on a fence for me to pull away before running in my yard. I backed up the car and he went back to the fence. They actually wait and watch me go to work before attacking my garden. BASTARDS!

You need to come visit the Connecticut woods Philly for a little revenge. I routinely squash about 2-3 of them every year with my car. My wife used to do all kinds of crazy things like swerving and braking...until I told her that's exactly what the bastards are expecting you do! I told her to just close her eyes and drive right through. Since then, she probably knocks off about half a dozen a year. No chipmunks though...they're too smart and cute.

Chipmunks are fucking nuts. We were at Sun Mountain Lodge in north central WA last summer and kamikaze chipmunks were daring each other to run in front of the car. Come to think of it, though, we didn't see any dead chipmunks in the road, which is more than I can say about the deer.

It does remind of one of my favorite sayings...

He's nuttier than squirrel shit!
