Most Divisive Issue?

Mmmm NAMM. Nothing like getting a post-NAMM Sweetwater catalog and drooling over new gear. Like all the ridiculously cheap and feature-packed 24/192k I/Os and control surfaces. Amazing that people can have a pretty high-quality Logic (or ProTools LE or whatever other) studio these days. So why the hell are we not seeing more hi-rez music out there?? It's weird to have all this low-rez MP3 controversy and yet have all this new hi-rez capability. It seems RIAA is missing a great opportunity to push the musical envelop and give people some choice...make hi-rez or low-rez a divisive issue. [;)]
