Seeing the name "kingVidiot" in the Violns thread got me to postin'. I recently got this on DVD, being released to the public 2 months prior. Just watched it last weekend. Ah what a nostalgic movie. Sure, the transfer to DVD is horrible, but it makes it look nice & grindhouse. The soundtrack("totally awesome video gaaaaames!") sounds like some in-studio rip-off of The Tubes, but I'm liking it.
Extra helpings of nudity, actual screenshots & footage of video games, Jon Gries as King Vidiot(and his weird punk goons) makes for a nostalgic trip.
I first saw this on VHS on a rental in 1996. For years I regretted not making a copy of it since it's so hard to find.
Last week's nostalgic movie before that was my DVD copy of "Midnight Madness". FAGABEEFE forever.
