The Soft Drink Bottle Neck Reduction

Postby Sean » Tue Mar 27, 2007 3:47 am

Do you guys notice that the little part on the top of bottle where you can lift the bottle up by it's neck has gotten a lot smaller in the last several years? What's up with that? Some of them are so small now, your hands can barely even hold on to them. Cost cutting?!?

That is very cool with the auto toilet seat covers. Are you able to double up on the covers? Again, worried about the ultra thin products. [:)]

I think we have discussed water saver faucets and toilets before but do you guys also hate super spray faucets. You know, the ones that are so strong that you can't really wash your hands with them and the only thing you do is splash water all your pants. These items all waste water in the long run in my opinion.

Ah I love Andy Rooney threads.

Remember when soft drink cans DIDN'T taper at the top? They were purely cylindrical.

I think those bottles will eventually be like that again.

I don't like the toilets that automatically flush. Sometimes, you just have to sit there, you know, to finish your business, tie your shoe, fish a lipgloss out of your purse, whatever. And I don't appreciate it when it decides my time is up and flushes while I'm sitting there, spraying my butt with icy cold toilet water.

Also am not a fan of the water faucets and paper towel dispensers that are motion activated because the ones I pick NEVER work and I stand there like an idiot, waving my hands underneath them and getting nothing in return...

I think they need to get rid of these robotic soda vending machines. They should bring back the old skool ones where you'd have to open the glass door m-a-n-u-a-l-l-y and pull out the bottle yourself. Those were just cool. And forget these plastic bottles altogether! BRING BACK THE GLASS!

I don't care for automatic toilet flushers either. Sometimes it'll flush with any random movement and you'll be sitting on it and it'll flush and you're like hello, I'm still sitting here!!
