Okay, I just have to toot my own horn here a bit! I just finished a 7 week archaeological field school today and I am sooooooo happy! It was a real challenge because it involved hard physical labor 7 hours a day (5 days per week), plus 3 hours of studying every night and 3-5 page essays due 5 days per week. Add a family on top of that and you've got one strung-out college student. On top of that, I ran CIRCLES around all those 20 something year olds with my 37 year old body. I took the final exam today (and scored an A, whoopee), finished my site unit, turned in all documents and floored it out of there. Please keep in mind also that it has been 95 degrees out with humidity which makes it feel more like 102 degrees.
Whoooo hoooo! I am sucking on a martini right now as we speak and the tub is filling with bubbles. Aaaaaaah!
Here's a pic of what I dreamed about for 7 weeks (I kept thinking, "all it's missing is a body or two!"). Soooo glad it's over. lol.
