Commuting

Postby medication881 » Wed Jul 04, 2007 1:05 am

I hate driving 35 minutes to work...

But what I hate more (and I can't believe no one has started a thread about this yet) is the nonsense that Bush pulled on Monday. It shows that there is zero accountability with this administration. The right's defense is the "B-b-b-b-but Clinton!" argument, and the fact that Scooter will still have to pay a $250,000 fine and has a felony conviction, can't make a living as a lawyer, etc. Please. I wouldn't be surprised if some neo-con hasn't already wired the money into his account, and he'll always have a job waiting at Fox News as a "political analyst". Oh, and by the way, I thought what Clinton did was bullshit too, but he didn't benefit from his pardons like Bush/Cheney are benefitting from this commutation. THE GUY WAS THE VP CHIEF OF STAFF for Christs sake! My great hope is that the Dems will finally grow a spine and go after these assholes with both barrells blazing. Time for the Republican dead-enders to say "America before party" and tell these corrupt bastards to take a hike. Time to stop fucking around and take the gloves off...if Bush wants a fight, I say we kick the shit out of him. How anyone can defend these two is beyond me, and I am especially curious to see Marvymarv's take on this.

Oh, and Happy 4th everyone (you too Marv! My best to you and your family!)
