Ron Paul and the Sex Pistols

Postby MikeP » Thu Nov 01, 2007 7:48 am

While I'm not a Tonight Show/Jay Leno regular by any means, the Oct. 30 line-up was surreal and impossible to ignore: Tom Cruise, Ron Paul and the Sex Pistols. My SO and I skipped Tom entirely for fear of throwing up in our mouths a little, but Ron was entertaining and the Sex Pistols were passable if you managed to overlook their bloatedness and the irrelevant absurdity of it all given their age.[:0]

Check out Ron Paul shaking hands with John Lydon afterwards... something I don't expect Hillary, Rudy or Mitt to do anytime soon![8D]

It seemed to me that it was P.I.L. covering the Pistols instead of the Pistols. Know what I mean? Cool nonetheless.

What a great moment. Thanks for the post, Mike. Ron Paul is obviously resonating with the youth of the country and seeing him shake hands with Lydon, an icon of our own youth and quite probably a kindred spirit of Paul's, was priceless.

Getting old totally sucks!
And I agree about Tom Cruise! He makes everyone sick. He is so fake and tries to pull off being normal. What a jerk. Go feed your kid some soy milk and moon dust you freak.

The handshake in the end was priceless, even better and not as awkward as when Elvis shook hands with Nixon... The youth LOVE the message of Ron Paul..God save this country...Vote Ron Paul..We mean it MAN!

My wife tapped the last few minuites of the show so I managed to see the Sex Pistols play.I wished they had of played Liar or New York to change it up a bit.At least they didn,t do God save the Queen and holy shit is Steve Jones looking old.Sill enjoyable though.
