Seems every cable outlet has to have a Paranormal/Ghost hunter show. The ghost hunters are always setting up cameras,motion detectors and audio recording equipment. I have yet to see more than a drafty house presented as physical evidence of anything. The evidence is usually "I feel a presense here" and that's about it. Can someone make me a believer? Any good ghost stories?

I enjoy watching Ghost Hunters on the SciFi Network. They seem to go out to try and disprove or find logical explations for what persons having them out are describing. If you wanna see some real crazies look on the net at all the local ghost hunter sites some are laughable. Everything they do is based on find orbs in photos they take.

I'm addicted to these shows as well. My present fav is paranormal state on A&E. I don't know why I always watch them because you know if something that astounding was captured we'd of heard about it via other media outlets long before the airing of a show. One of the things that gets me is hoe these shoes like to exploit the trivial if it can't be disproved that it's paranormal. An off camera sound guy could have gas and one of the researchers starts buggin out about how he heard a noise and feels a presence and then they'd grab a paranormal psychic to see what kind of vibes they can get in the area of the noise and then he will tell you he feels multiple entities and one embodies evil. They will then have a evp of the event and play it back and you can kind of hear a groaning voice saying "beware" and then they can play back the heat sensitive camera and see a disturbance of the room temperature in that area and in the meantime the camera guy that farted has know idea the whole event evolved from his gas would get caught up in all the action "while eating another bean burrito" and swear he felt something try to make contact with him. I'm just waiting one day , one day they just might capture something.

I don't watch any of those shows. I don't believe in ghosts.

There's a great non-fiction book called "Will Storr vs The Supernatural". Will Storr is a UK journalist who tags along with a lot of different Ghost Hunter groups over the course of the book, including those frauds on the show Most Haunted. It's very funny, sometimes a bit sad, and, in some parts, kinda creepy, as he does see a couple of things he can't explain (Storr himself does not believe in ghosts but he's not condemning of people who genuinely do). Definitely worth checking out.
