The west coast is definitely out. Somewhere on the east coast would do nicely, but be careful. our computer got fried, too !!
Our processor more or less melted. Husband thinks the fan inside the computer wasn't working; the computer shut down on him after a couple hours of use. We can't even reformat or anything...it just...fried.

LUCKILY, though, we didn't lose much. We don't keep our music collections on the HD--that music is all burned to discs. We also had made copies of pictures and documents. We were good little monkeys. The worst I can say that I lost would be my "favorites/ bookmarks" of websites, and I guess email addresses.

Still, we gotta get a new computer.

Everything is back to normal thanks! You are smart and now I am too. I back up my music every week to an external hd. Do it people!
