Postby randy » Tue May 06, 2008 1:13 am

Man, I'm really at the point at which I have to damn much music!!! What the hell do I mean by this? Boatloads of still yet unlistened to music that I've gotten from all over the place. Got so much I rarely download anything these days since I'm still playing catchup from music last year!!!! I just dont have the time in the day to devote to it like I used to and it's making me nuts!! Coop--that cd you sent a while back--still untouched!! So what do I do hearing Lukes is closing down? Of course--buy boatloads of vinyl that I will be lucky if I get to a quarter of it this year!!!!!!!AAAAAARRRRRRGGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!!!

You're worthless and weak. Learn to sacrifice other important aspects of your life like communicating with your spouse, proper nutrition, exercise, or bathing, and social events (which lack of bathing will help eliminate anyway). Get with the program!!!

Yes, I've found that lack of bathing is a biggie to help with this problem.[;)]

Having no life in general also helps.

Exactly! Who needs a social life anyway when you've reached our age? I've had my headphones surgically attached to my ears and I plug in at work listening pretty much all day, ripping CD's in the background when possible. Oh, and iCommute therefore iPod.

Shit advice...I already do all of this and I'm 2 years behind with just the vinyl. I'm so tired of explaining to my wife why I get all this stuff in the mail, I've had a hand held "GO AWAY" sign made.

Well...that's one idea but you can also find more time by combining some or all of the above events to save time. For instance, invite the hot MILF next door to bathe with you. Now you've got bathing, socializing and (hopefully) exercise all combined into one time slot. And...if your wife finds out about this after the fact, your wife will probably stop communicating with you anyway (except through her lawyer).

We didn't sell a lot of records, but somehow we left an impression.

<p align="justify">That's an awersome Animal House quote[8D]

I don't have nearly as much music as you kids - about 1300 albums and compilations, and mebbe 100 singles. There is some stuff in there that I've only listened to once (and not even at full-length). However, I have about 500 movies in my collection AND 500 movies in my Netflix queue - this shit will never END[}:)] I am hopeless. I will not come up to see the sunlight for the next coupla years, easy.

That problem is easy to solve:

1. Clean all your spare vinyl.
2. Call your local tv station, tell them you're the whacko vinyl eater and you have a statement to make. Invite them to your house/flat.
3. Eat (hopefully cleaned) vinyl in front of a camera (that part may demand some exercise, a little hard on the stomach first)
4. Tell someone from the crew (note: must be HOT) with the most sincere voice what you have learned ('Pop will always eat itself')
5. Tell the world further words of wisdom on music, life and all the worthless crap you've thought of while being stuck under your headphones for ages.
6. Marry the hot person from tv you've met and have children.
7. You are now famous, lucky and - depending you staying power - will have lots of space and NO unheard music left. [^]
