Yeah I can't wait.. I need a holiday SO bad.

We are doing a tour around Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, and France then we go to London for a few days... then we are going back to Paris to see Madonna perform at the Stade De France, then we go back to London and spend 3 weeks travelling around the UK.

Cooperstown is great. In the middle of nowhere. My family literally skidded to there for a visit this past February. It sure is empty in February, but not as much as you might think it would be.

If you're an unabashed beer snob like me, be sure to visit the Ommegang brewery while you're there, and bring home a few cases for yourself. You won't be sorry. (And it sure beats the Anheuser-Busch crap I easily ignore here in Va.)

I'm with you BigBri. I went on a tour of the brewery a few years ago and I NEVER fail to pick up some great Ommegang beer while there. I even have an Ommegang sweatshirt!
This time, I picked up some Three Philosophers, Hennepin and, my personal favorite, Rare Vos. I can't drink that Anheiser Busch crap either.

I love Sam Adams Octoberfest. It is on the shelves now.

I drink the black lager all the time. Try it you won't be sorry. Its like a thick Guinness without the bitterness.
I have also tried the octoberfest, summer ale, and heff. I love them all. The Heffenweisen is awesome with an orange slice in it...I kid you not.

Which black lager? The Cream Stout or the Honey Porter? Both are really good. The Cream Stout is an English-style Stout which is always sweet unlike Irish Stouts which are bitter.

Neither. It is called Sam Adams Black Lager. The cream stout is good but this is different. It is so good! It is real dark but not bitter at all. There is a hint of chocolate that kills the bitterness. It rocks..try it.

Well...since I didn't feel like going out, I am having an Octoberfest as we speak (I told you they were on the shelves yesterday. I picked some up). Very tasty. A myriad of rich flavors and very smooth.
