Welcome to the new forum!
If you are a previously registered user, you must do the following:

1) Click on 'I forgot my password' at the login prompt
2) Enter your username and email you registered with and submit
3) You will receive an email with an activation link. Please click it and then log in using the random password provided
4) Go to your User Control Panel and click on the Profile tab
5) Click on 'Edit Account Settings' and enter your new password twice followed by the random password provided earlier. Click Submit.
6) That's it...you're back in! You may have to log in again with your new password.

Yes we do, although I was given the option of having the tumor removed for about 2500. The vet said it would only have given him another month or 2, and I couldn't see the point of prolonging it any longer. Otherwise, without such a inevitable diagnoses I woudl have done anything for him.

KYYX, the grief passes although it doesn't seem like it ever will right now. It's such a long process and I don't think there's any magic advice except to just live through it. I just recently was able to look at pictures of my boy.

I hate hearing about the loss of a pet--I have a mini Dachshund that goes everywhere I go--best buddies dont ya know. Would be lost without him. Animal lover in general-when my daughters hamster was dying last month (knew he was going--got sick--started getting better then took quick turn for the worse ) I stayed up with it and held him in my hands all night to keep him warm.
