How to Score a Free Shrimp Platter

Postby MARV » Tue Dec 23, 2008 3:10 am

1. Go to CostCo.
2. Buy the chicken salad wrap.
3. Almost choke and die on a piece of plastic.
4. Bring the deadly object back to CostCo.
5. Walk out with family sized shrimp platter and special store manager escort.

I know, I tried the blu-ray player. No go.

Yeah. They gave me the biggest one. I got shrimp comin' out the wazoo. I'm eating them with my eggs, in my soup, forget it. Shrimp all day. What an awesome Christmas. Marie, send me a good recipe to make these shrimp with.

Marie, they have great sea food at costco. I buy all my stuff there when I cook for a bunch of people. The salmon is great too.

Clams, mussels, lobster tail, salmon, catfish, I think I tried everything but the king crab legs and blue crab. Big seafood fan over here. Healthy. I need to do the crab already. That'll be my New Year's resolution, Philly [:p]

I just sauteed a batch of shrimp in olive oil, india pale ale and garlic. That beer carmelizes GOOD all over the shrimp. Sprinkle with a pepper medley - black, white and green peppercorns. Add a touch of coriander and a touch of allspice.

OK, going for another brewski.
