Leon Panetta as CIA chief?

Has Obama gone back to smoking the spliff already, in times like this you don't nominate someone with absolutely no background in the intelligence game to be CIA chief. Biden claims he is qualified because he has been a consumer of intelligence for a long time. I've been a consumer of beer for a long time but that doesn't qualify me to run a brewery. I quess letting someone with no experience get on the job training is good enough for this position, hell we have already done it with the presidency.

George Bush, the man who fu*ked up this country by the likes that we have never seen before loved to nominated people with no experience.
Harriet Mier, "Great job Brownie" and Julie Myers come to mind. If I had time I know I could search and find MANY more.
Give Obama a chance already. He's not even our president yet for gods sake. He has the near impossible task of cleaning up this loser presidents mess.

On the same token, will this be the pat response from Obama supporters or Democrats to point out mistakes in the past to somehow make up for bad decisions Obama or his staff make?
This is the same kind of response the Republicans had every time they made a decision that was questioned. Hating Bush does not excuse poor decisions now. (By the way, I am not defending or supporting or opposing the decision by this post)

I'm not sure what the response will be when Obama makes mistakes. I don't know if he will be a good president or not, but I am willing to give him chance.
Any criticism right now is redundant as the man is not even president yet. I don't know how it is all going to work out but give him the opportunity to govern before starting the blame process.

Ron Jeremy was a self venter he didn't need a partner to service him in that manner, but as rotund as he has become I doubt he can pull off that trick anymore. I would rather keep that pent up frustration intact than attempt that feat.[:)]

Ok, but isn't that the same thing that the Republicans said when people criticized Bush in the beginning? I don't see what is wrong with criticizing someone for a decision they make (even though he's not President yet isn't that a mere technicality and he is making some decisions right now that will impact our country for years to come?). All I'm asking is that every time he [i]is[/i] criticized, we don't say "but look what Bush did..." because in addition to sounding like a kindergarten class, it has no relevancy to the point at hand. That's all I'm saying. Hopefully he will be as wonderful as many believe and our country will turn itself around and cure [b]all[/b] the ills our past evil political leaders have created.

Sadly, they were right in their criticism of George Bush. IMO it is a joke that any Republican can point a finger at Obama while they backed the administration the last eight years that literally didn't have a clue. That is my point, though you may not think it's relevant.
As for Obama, I think he has a lot of his plate and if he isn't "perfect" per say, he is going to go through the ringer.
