Scariest Movie

<p align="justify">I can't vote for any of those movies because they aren't scary. However, if I was 10, then I'd vote for Nightmare On Elm Street, The Exorcist, and Salem's Lot. I think Salem's Lot had the longest effect on me since I did not sleep near a window until I was in my mid-teens. The fucked up part is that when I was a teenager, a friend of mine pressed his face onto my bedroom window and scared the crap outta me... I couldn't sleep near a window for another few months[}:)]

Currently, these are the movies I'd suggest for people looking for something disturbing to watch:

Lovely viewing I'm sure [xx(].

That window scene in Salem's Lot scared the crap out of me too. I was alone babysitting watching it. I think I set a record for turning on every light in a house before diving under a blanket. Let Ralphie take the kids. I'll be safe under the blanket.[:D]

ooh.. yeah Salems Lot - also made me shit my trackies when I was a lad.

It's very obviously very 'TV' these days.. but back then it gave me and my a-hole the creeps.

Well, I wouldn't put it in the same category as most of the movies mentioned, but I just watched a film about three college friends that accidentally get stranded overnight on a chairlift, and it sent chills down my spine.

If you are a skier, do NOT watch FROZEN, you will never get on a chairlift again! I know the plot sounds ridiculous but this movie freaked the shit out of me.

The Scariest movies are all the new ones comming out of Hollywood these days..They provide poor entertainment & your $15 buck addmission fee is gone forever!30 second trailers are the best bits from it!& they suck!

On whats been discussed the "Lambs" "Psycho" & "Texas Chainsaw" have a common factor...They are all based on a real life person !
Ed Gein of Plainfield Wisconson. He tried to make a woman suit from real womans skin & had dug up his dead mother as well as liked those snacks in the fridge !
