"McPhail's wife told investigators that she found her husband on their back porch Wednesday night having intercourse with their 4-year-old female pit bull terrier, the Pierce County sheriff's office report said. The dog was squealing and crying, according to charging papers."

"The woman took photos with her cell phone and called the sheriff's office."

This has all the makings of a bad SNL skit featuring Bob, the Dog-F*cking Husband ...

Bob's wife, to neighbor: Boy, my husband sure screwed the pooch today!
Neighbor: Uh oh, what did he do this time?
Wife: I just told you!
Neighbor: No you didn't. What did he do?
Wife: He screwed the pooch!
Neighbor: You already said that! What did he actually do?

(this carries on for 12 minutes or so, cut to G.E. Smith and the Saturday Night Live Band, then the promo for Berkshire Place)

On behalf of all Tacomans, let me just say that this happened in PARKLAND. That is outside of Tacoma city limits. TIP: If you come to WA, do not go east of I-5 in Pierce County!

As noted, this will be the first test of Washington's new anti-bestiality statute, which was enacted this year after a man died after having sex with a horse at a local farm (again, east of the freeway!) that was promoted on the internet as a haven for these kind of pervs.

As a former resident of both Spanaway and Parkland, I have to agree with you completely. I felt like I was starring in "Deliverance" on a daily basis back then. Toothless, KZOK/KISW listening idiots in Camaros.

The I-5 thing doesn't necessarily hold true though. When I was going to the University of Washington, one of the frats had their charter suspended because of a sheep charming incident. I remember reading how one of the frat morons had his arm greased all the way to the elbow. Blech. The police office quoted in the paper referred to the sheep as "agitated".

Hee hee, yes, I was at UWLaw at the time and remember the coverage in the campus newspaper. My college boyfriend, a Clash-loving frat boy, swore that copulation with an animal was part of the initiation rites of a major national fraternity.

I still stand by my I-5 theory though . . . while we may find animal love elsewhere, it's endemic in east Pierce County! [:D]

And I must quote one of my favorite movies: "Hey you--you, bear-fucker! Do you need assistance?"

I remember the "agitated sheep" too! We must have been at UW at the same time.

Unfortunately, I can trump this.

A guy caught doing a dead dog.

I think I just threw up in my mouth a little.
