No, no. I'm actually enjoying reading Quiet Life's convictions. In terms of xtians, I might appear to be a fanatic of science (i.e. someone who gives a lot of weight to that course of study and thinks/acts accordingly). I think his assertions are founded on the scriptures of God's word.

In your notion of faith I guess yes it is. And by your standard your athiesm is a huge blind silly leap in the dark.

But the Christian notion of faith is not a blind leap the empty promise of the athiests like KYYX, but faith is informed by history and facts like the resurrection of Christ these historical truths no one can take away. So in the Christian worldview Faith in married to historical facts. Athiest are just robbed by thier bankrupt notion of what their blind leap of faith is.

This is a little hard for me to do, but in fairness to the Shrub (gulp), it's worth clarifying that this statement was made in 1987 by the first President Bush, while he was VP, and not by W. I had always assumed it was W myself (because it sounds like something he'd say, dammit) but Mr. Hex asked for some proof, and I was wrong.
