<br>Mechi, 4 1/2 in U.S. women's sizing is really small!

My feet are enormous. Depending on the brand, I wear anything from a 9.5 to a 10. I once read the average size for women is 7. So, I have these huge feet, but it's OK because my shoe section is never picked over and I can always find the shoes I want!

Oh now I feel bad. (size 11) I ususally wear men's shoes (size 8 1/2 mens). Then again I am 5'10" so I'm proportionately long boned everywhere. (heh heh. heh heh. She said "long boned" heh heh.)

But I'm only 5'10". Am I a freak, or is a size 12 normal for my height? I'm too busy/lazy to look it up.

The ability to find shoes on sale at Nordstrom Rack[8D] They don't carry 9 1/2, but they carry a boatload of 11s, 12s, and 13s.

The "math" in me had to respond. I teach a lesson involving shoe size and height every year. There is a strong correlation, but it's not a perfect fit. So, hutter, you are in the normal range based on my classes.

That said, for real shoe-size envy, consider Shaq - size 23.

For no envy, try buying my size 9A in anything.
