No problem Mike [:)]

And Ben, I speak with words. Not innuendo or your sense of "givens". I frankly don't "get" you so I can't get "it". I'm not one of your friends in "real life". You're in a public forum communicating with people the world over from all walks of life and your *subjective* sense of humor and wit does'nt really translate as you'd like it to.

I, like several others on this board, are sick of your subvervise comments, passive / aggresiveness and Jekyl & Hyde personality. If you have something to say to me, use the contact info in my profile and stop your predictable pattern of immature showboating. No one except your conga line of half brain cronies are impressed. Why don't you take the first step in improving your social status here and try to do something constructive? Here, I'll save you a few clicks: marvy@optonline.net

Sorry everyone, to get on a little bit of a soapbox here with Ben in front of you all, especially after Mike's request for a general chill out. I'm happy to cooperate with management but Ben's persistent needling especially to me has to be answered. This is someone I'll happily engage as he does not hide behind an alias or a spoofed IP and can be held accountable for his social faux pas. And I'm happy to be the one to hand his ass to him if necessary. Except I'll do it offline, where it belongs.

But I freaking KICK ASS at it.

It came along when I was afraid to lose the V-Card- and it was obvious she wanted to- but I was scared to...so I became good at it to put it off.
She ended up stealing it anyway.

What do you mean, Ben? Alec Guiness was a class act, and THE Obi-Wan Kenobi. Ewan McGregor was a adequate fill-in, but not the real thing (I hope this doesn't start another war, and about Star Wars, of all things!) Hey Ben, did you ever get my email about the Secret Wars comics, or did the cyber gremlins eat it before it got to you?

Yeah Sir Alec Guiness did rule...Yeah i got that email, sorry i hadnt repied yet. I got frustrated as the day you sent it i got all jazzed about finding them so i went to the 2 local comic shops and they didnt know shit and were no help when i asked if that had any trade mags like you mentioned..... I guess just the main "Secret Wars" comics would be cool and i can look for the crossovers from there. Yeah any help would be cool. Thanks

I can't believe those retards. Any semi-intelligent comics dealer would just call Diamond distribution and see if the trade paperback is currently in stock. What losers. I'm sorry your local comic stores are staffed by "fuck-nuts" (to steal one of your terms). We're not all like that, believe me.

(brief pause)

I just called Diamond, and the Secret Wars trade IS in stock (it's 24.95). If the retards at your local comic shop won't make the order, let me know. Jeezus, what losers. Don't they want to make any money?!?

(amazing how a thread about oral delights turns into geek talk about comic books. Amazing. And it's my own damned fault!)

Sweet.... I'll tell them what you said about Diamond. Yeah both places are owned by the same guy and he's actually pretty knowledgable but he's never there. When i went in it was a teenager behind the counter. Both shops host Magic tournaments everyday and there are like 50 or so nerdy kids running around playg Magic..the Gathering. Ah well.. it was D&D when i was a lad...

in other forums i'm a member of it's usually the reverse! an innocent thread turns into innuendo and then worse!

i partake in none of that though...

I stay away from having the tournaments. I hate playing babysitter. I'm just in it for the money and the honeys.[;)](I try to keep myself available for any customer to reach me. It sounds like your local guy needs to make himself more visible, otherwise he'll lose a lot of business)

In spite of the headaches, it's the second best job I ever had. I dig it.
