You've not seen those paintings done by elephants? Of course, only humans appreciate such art and are able to market it amongst themselves.

the whole reason i come onto the internet is to be inane and purile...

real life is too blinking serious and i need light relief sometimes...

Right. I'm all about hate... I guess what passes for hate here has morphed into a general intolerance of whiners whose self pity makes me want to puke. Yeah sure, here's your comeback (I'll save you the trouble of posting it)...well, if you don't want to read my whining, move on to another thread. Great solution, except you or one of your cohorts are whining and wallowing in self pity in virtually every thread. If your real life is such "shite" why not devote some time and attention to it, rather than bleating on about it here where nothing will be resolved.

And besides, Ben is a big boy, he doesn't need daddy standing in the shadows...

I consider myself a Nation of One...with many allies that I often find myself at odds with. As much as I like some of y'all, I'm rarely 100% behind anyone...wouldn't be very smart, considering the passive/aggresive tendencies commonplace here...

Especially today Hutter, I got some bad take-out last night.

But seriously, how immature to feel the need to side with somebody. Mechi, who cares who's side you're on. I was commenting on Toe's stupid remark about hate. Simply put, if I don't feel the need to join in her (or anyone else's) endless self pity, dour mood or pathetic need to prop up their fragile ego, her conclusion is that I must be a hateful person.

Toe, my opinion is that you need a kick in the ass, that's all. Life is what you make of it...and you are hardly the only person who has had a hard life. I've been through more than any of you will know, but what good will it do to burden you with it, or bring everyone down by lamenting about it on a board devoted to music and general discussion.

Maybe MikeP needs to start a "Shoulder to cry on" forum.
