But God forbid if anyone were to say that in the press. It is true but your not allowed to talk about it.

Stella, good point and I could live with that.

If they have'nt come up with the solution and are therefore boneheads and you're not offering a solution, does that make you a bonehead too? Newsflash: the boneheads focus on "high public impact measures" to appease the over-sensitive types like you.

I just got accused of "coming out swinging" in another thread for comments much less direct than these. I hope Birdmadgirl will be along soon to set you straight Mr. Marv.

BTW: I agree with your position.

How's this for a plan. First secure the borders, than secure the ports. This is accomplished by buying the equipment and hiring the staff to inspect all incoming containers and to patrol out borders and airspace. You do the same for airline baggage, Invest in screening technology, pay security better than minimum wage to attract more qualified workers and limit turnover.

Isolate Iran. Remove Iranian citizens from American soil, cancel all visas, bar Iranian nationals from flying on any American owned Airline and working for American companies. Freeze bank accounts, seize assets and apply sanctions to any country doing business with them.

I can see the first part of your post (though I hope there are no speed bumps in this plan should it ever come to fruition because people like you'll never be happy) but the second part makes me a little uncomfortable and smacks of racial profiling gone awry. I would hate to see my Iranian and even of Iranian descent friends exposed to such a Nazi-esque methodology. In your little fantasy land could the Iranians already here as permanent residents and naturalized citizens be left alone?
