I would say independent or Libertarian.

Basically I'm a Fiscal Conservative and a Social Liberal.

I'm a firm believer in Free Market Capitalism (with minor oversight)
I believe that you should be able to do whatever you like--as long as it doesn't hurt anyone else.
Personal responsibility for one's actions should be the basis of our rule of law
The U.S. Constitution is as close as we've gotten in Western Civilisation to the "best" way to govern

Actually Independent with more Democratic leanings than Republican.
MANY more Democratic leanings courtesy of the Bushman.

ya, me too! Not sure if I identify with any specific party strongly, but I was raised by moderate Republicans with surprisingly socially liberal views, and I think those views kinda stuck with me.

I am an arch conservative, against anything that doesn't benefit the rich white boys club, I make out with pictures of Ann Coulter, and sacrifice a pro-choicer every night in hopes that Regan will rise from his grave and rule over this immoral cesspool that America has become.

In reality...I'm a Clinton fan.

I'm a political independent with Libertartian leanings. At the time, I was never a big fan of Clinton, but now . . . please, oh God, bring him back!!! Bush is an unmitigated disaster of epic proportions. If you can't learn the difference between "nuculer" and "nuclear" in 6 years . . . . good grief. I'd feel safer if a chimp were running the country.

Boy am I with you, drsevrin. Every bit of what you said I completely agree with. Oh, and [b]birdmadgirl[/b], Kinky's one of the people I'm trying to decide amongst. Or between. Can it still be "between" if it's more than two people? I don't believe so, but it can't hurt to ask/try. Anyway.

"between" is used in referring to 2 people, while "among" is used in referring to 3 or more people.[:)]

Very liberal, with some libertarian leanings. Cannot stand either major party but when the Sh*t hits the fan I hold my nose and vote democrat.

My political awakenings were thanks (in part) to bands such as The Clash, Gang Of Four & Midnight Oil. Though I do have a sweet spot for Fear's "Let's Have A War" (I like the vocal intro)...a guilty pleasure.

Come to think of it, other than Fear, DI, the Misfits and Billy Zoom, I don't really know of too many admitted right-wing new wavers from back in the day. I think Gary Numan had conservative leanings. Any help here?

Not so sure, I voted Liberal democrats last time here in the uk so that maybe makes me a democrat then? (Plus I just wanted the current government OUT) I'm strange because I do have some traditional conservative values but I am also rebellious and future-minded as a person...
