I hurt my back at work years ago, oddly enough , by whacking my head really hard--hit it so hard I knocked the crap out of my spine. Then, just as I was getting better--smash--car accident last February. Not nearly the pain you are in though--got through it with Chiropractor and Physical Therapist.

I am sorry you are so unwell, if my sister hadn't taken my moms leftover pain meds (percoset, dilaudid,oxycontin and xanex)and put them in the blender and then flushed them away i would have shared with you! I hope your up and around soon.

Bummer, phil. Good luck on the recovery. So your wife couldn't or wouldn't help out with transportation to and from the hospital? At least she made a pharmacy run for you. She should be waiting on you hand and foot. I'm sure that's what you'd do if the situation were reversed.
