We're OK so far, while the rest of Rome burns...[:)]

I think Bush said in a speech today that we are being punished for our state having not voted for him two times...[}:)][;)][:o)]

Thanks again ---things seem to be getting better....over 500,000 evacuated could be going back home even as other evacuations are happening. An estimated over 2 Billion in damages.

That is good to hear: The Castaic Fire is 45% contained, the Stevenson Ranch (known as Magic fire b/c of Six Flags Magic Mountain Amusement Park) is almost out, and the Canyon Country one, unknown.

The best thing so far is the winds dying down...

The evacuations here have been really small compaired to San Diego. Everyone is in the gym at the Saugus Senior High School. I volunteered therer as part of the team of Farmers agents, handed out checks to people who needed money to pay for food/clothing/shelter, as they lost there house. The Farmers Helppoint Command center is way cool... usually, folks have to keep after their insurance... this is quite the opposite, Farmers gives them a check for what they think they'll need now, and then it get deducted from the running tab from the amount for "Loss of Use" line item of their policy.

Anyway, starting to make this too long, thanks for all your thoughts and prayers, I think the worst is over.

That's so cool, glok!

We have State Farm here. It's the only company that insures homes on the East side of I-95 (due to hurricanes and as an effect of Katrina). I can only pray that they will be as accomodating as Farmer's if the crap ever hits the fan here.

Keep up the good fight! [;)]

Our main two competitors, State Farm and Allstate, were no where in sight... [:0][:)]

<p align="justify">Driving on the bridge of Santa Margarita I could see the entire outline of the Santiago Canyon fire. Along the way I was thinkin', "I'm glad I don't live in the boonies" - and, bam! There's a fire 10 miles away on the other side of the hill in Trabuco Canyon! If that shit gets to other side to the Cleveland Natl. Forest, we have the potential of being fucked. I have headache from the smell of burning wood[xx(]

Hey, I saw on the news they caught some limpdick piece of shit pyro trying to start a fire[}:)]
