Like I said.....good one.

Wouldn't anyone one of you guys feel the slightest amount of remorse if anyone who read this thread actually acted upon it?

No, I guess not.......I mean who reads these anyway? It's really easy not to feel remorse if you aren't aware of the outcome now is it?

I equate this thread to the bullies in school who mercilessly attacked (physically and mentally) those who could not defend themselves. I personally know 3 people from my past who were picked upon by morons in school.....those 3 killed themselves later on. Did any of the morons feel regret? I doubt it. Did they off themselves because of the moron's? Who knows? But I'm sure it didn't help.

But what do I know? I'm just a guy who hasn't entertained the possibility of killing myself....but who knows.....maybe someone here is thinking about it right now.

No, Max ... I wouldn't care at all if someone read any of this and killed themselves. Not even the slightest bit. In fact I'll go you one further. If anyone reading this is considering suicide, please either shit or get off the pot. Quit whining and get to it. If you need any more tips, email me. I'll be happy to help.

Ditto that. No one can MAKE you commit suicide. If you are so sick or such a loser that you can't help yourself then why is it my fault? Okay, I give leeway to those who are clinically depressed or mentally ill. But people who kill themselves because they were picked on and/or bullied. Whaaaaa. Cry me a river.

Here, Max, I'll prove my sincerity: a few years ago my own mother kept telling me she was going to kill herself. This is not a fair or appropriate thing to tell your own child. Especially when the thing she wanted to kill herself over was so trivial and could be fixed if she'd only help herself. So after about 2 months of this I replied, "For God's sake, do me a favor and go ahead and get it over with already!"

So she did.

(She survived, which is typical for most female suicide attempts. Most people do it for attention, not because they truly want to die. Read the statistics; it's true.)

Evil Phil: if anyone is going to kill themselves, please keep us posted.

Nice Phil: I hear you on the bully part. I really hate that shit. But everyone here is just goofing around and nobody told anyone else to kill themselves. By talking about something you don't make it happen. Most of us email eachother and if someone was going to off themselves there are plenty of people they could actually talk to.

BTW I thought of a great way to kill yourself! Drive your car really really fast, really late at night with no headlights on, on a road with no lights! But the moon must be full in order to pull it off! (there are about 3 of you that will get that joke.)

If bullying gets you to that point, you've got bigger problems than the bully. Not knowing anything about being a bully, I can only guess that the "bullyer" (too lazy to see if I've just invented a word) doesn't realize the degree of effect he/she has on the victim. If only they (bullies) could channel that power to...well, motivate insipid asswipes to stop clogging up internet boards, and get into the 12 step programs where they belong.
