Of course God knows what will happen. But we don't, and He deals with us on that level. Just because something happens doesn't mean God wants it to -- it just means that He allowed it. Children get molested. People get robbed. These are the results of human free will -- something God doesn't interfere with. We will be accountable to Him because of our choices, but that doesn't make them God's preference for our lives.

There was an incident where Jesus pointed to a man who was crippled since birth (I believe that's how it goes). Jesus said he got this way so that God's power could be demonstrated in him. God wants you to pray for change. He tells us to pray for people, our enemies as well as friends, our leaders, for healing, etc. As for limbs reappearing, when I lose one and pray over it, I'll get back to you. But I could probably point you to a ton of people who've had all sorts of ailments healed, as well as many who have not. I think that more proves my point than yours.

What people, who believe in free will, don't understand is that it doesn't matter that we don't know what will happen as a result of what God allows to happen (from his own creation). People merely do what God intended them to do, according to his creation/plan. Otherwise, man would have the power to change God's plan/will any time they choose.

You think you have free will? Okay. So that means you chose to be born and to whom you were born into. You also chose to be male. You choose when you get sick and when you want to eat, sleep, and shit. Hell, you could probably choose to forego the latter three, right? And, of course, you will choose when you die. That is free will.

When God created people, he also created their nature, or, else, God created man and he didn't know what they would subsequently do... which contradicts the notion that God knows everything.

Does God have free will? That means God can choose to do good or choose to do evil. Has God ever chosen to do evil? No? How is [i]that[/i] free will? Besides, since God knows everything, that means he knows the outcome of every decision before it even materialises, which means God can only do what is right without fail - every time, all the time. God doesn't have a choice either. So, how can God give what God does not have?
