I'm hoping to get Weird Al to parody Kate Perry's "I Kissed A Girl" especially for Philly..."I Killed A Squirrel".

A year from now, I want to be on the right side of the dirt.

it's so interesting to read all the stories of where you are/were/going....we're such an eclectic group of people on this forum!

Let's see...well, I did an Olympic triathlon last month so next year I'd like to step it up a little and see about training for the NYC marathon (I hope to get in by 2010)....

I'd like to have most of our home equity paid down by end of next year (we turned our attic into bedrooms for the kids since my daughter was sleeping in the living room the first 10 months of her life....talk about white-trash family!)

My boss is telling me that he wants to promote me to the next level by January, so I'm hoping that will go through...

other than that, I'm looking forward to spending any non-working or non-training time with my husband & kids.

Life's too short to not enjoy yourself as much as you possibly can!! [:)]

Placing my dad in an assisted living facility (not a bad thing).
Celebrating 11 years of marriage.
Still enjoying my current job.
Still enjoying our remodeled home.
Finally caving in to kids' request for a pet rodent of some sort.

Ironically, I was promoted by the same people I was ripping on. I now make a little more money and work a little less, which is good. I'm also hanging out at a local university, taking a Master's class here and there, but not with an intended goal. I do have more cash in the bank and into retirement account(s)[}:)]

However, I made it this far, but never got the girl[V]

There is a direct correlation between A and B.

Took longer than I predicted, but at least it happened. This time next year will be even better.

Yes, that's a funny correlation. However, it all began when I didn't get the girl. It was THEN that I focused like a laser on work and school, and managed to make more money - and save more money. I've made it to the point where I don't ever worry about personal finances and I'm virtually fire-proof at work. It all came full circle when I stopped for a moment and thought, "This was all to get the girl! Hahahah"[}:)]
