A friend of mine just puts a dish of anti freeze in a trap in his attic, then checks every other day. He says it works.

55 gallon drum of water!
I used to have a crazy cat lady near me that used to have 25 cats that wrecked the garbage so I built a tender trap & used beef hotdogs as the smell lasts for days & bye bye kitty cats!(I took them to the humane shelter) A war of attrition!She couldn't afford to bail them out!
The water thing works great as it fast & quiet & mess free...The carcas just goes into a "Glad" bag!
