I almost gave up on it with all the time travel stuff., but I've really enjoyed this season with the parallel universe angle.

I CAN'T BELIEVE THEY KILLED OFF JIN & SUN !!

(yes, that is anguished shouting)

I'm still on the edge of my seat. It's coming together tightly. I can't believe they tried to escape AGAIN, only to be blowed up and wash back up on the island. [:0]

And that pilot dude, too. He's nowhere near as important as Jin & Sun & Sayid, but I thought he was a great character.

Lapidus--I liked him too. Really hoping Miles makes it to the end, I find his character pretty cool.

last regular epi tonight guys! I'm stocked and also a little bummed at the same time...it's been a hell of a ride. I sure hope the finale lives up to the hype!

What shows are you guys picking up to replace LOST?

Great Kimmel clip. Worst two and a half hours of TV of all time. The string quartet has to be exhausted from the incessantly cloying minor-key strumming.

You know what I pictured thru the whole mawkish and tired 2.5 hours? Ed Harris watching over The Truman Show, bringing up the violins as an emotionally manipulative construct was played out. Except Truman here is equal parts the characters and the audience.

It's a cop-out to infer that the island was real while the sideways lives were sort of a waiting room and once Jack and everyone realized that they'd be, yippy, all happy and one in heaven and with each other. If the island was real, then the writers had some responsibility to make the monster, polar bear, Dharma project and glowing butt plug at the bottom of the island add up to something more than the shell game charade the "real" stuff ended up being for no better reason than they sucked as writers and something had to perpetuate the money machine that was Lost.

And dammit, giant jet planes would sink into sand and blow up before taking off on 200 feet of runway.

One of the all time great shows with a lousy ending. Sorry DJ--Blir is right.
Last years season ender would have been a much more satisfying end for me.

Maybe 24's finale tonight will ease the pain......

You guys got off easy. I've been living with this series finale since 1991.

*SPOILER ALERT*

You know what's fun? Reading all the reactions... even though I've never watched a single minute of it. They should have ended it by nuking everyone and everything from space. That way we could be assured there won't be any reunion shows or movies or any other foolishness.

P.S. - It's not real.[|)]
