Don't be mad just because I haven't invited you over for naked Costco-sized Wesson Twister yet.

[i]>> Hmm, in the Costcos I've been to in CA, I don't recall there being an abundence of obese people.

Abbreviations confuse me. For instance, did you know CH stands for Switzerland and not China. What's up with THAT?

They have a pretty decent DVD selection. I saw all the Star Trek box sets from all the different series for around $50 a season the other day. That's damned good, considering they were around $100 mark when released. Guess what Marvy's telling Mrs. Marvy what he wants for Xmas [:D]
I saw those when I was there the other day -- my wife Tivo's select episodes of STTNG on Spike TV and I burn them to dvd for her - maybe I should just spring for the entire series.

Costco.com has the entire series for $299.99 Plus Shipping & Handling
Star Trek: The Next Generation™ Seasons 1-7
Paramount DVD
Item # 829907
THANKS YOU THANK YOU for that link. I'm finally ready to buy the STTNG series and I can't find them lower than $540.00 in my town. (I haven't looked on the internet yet). They're so expensive! But I want it ! That price is incredible and I think I might make a purchase.
Do you have to be a member of Costco to buy this set ?
I believe you have to be a member of Costco to purchase there. Do you have any friends who are members? Of course with the internet they can ship anywhere. I was just in Costco yesterday and they have the individual sets of STTNG for 44.95/season, so x 7 = 314.65 + 8.1% tax 25.49 = $340.14. (...so if the shipping is less than $40.14, the Costco web site is a pretty great deal). They also have the original series for 44.95 in the store, or for 139.99 online.

I just went to the web site and here is what the total would be:
Subtotal: $299.99
Shipping & Handling: $10.46
Tax: $22.97
Order Total: $333.42

THanks for the info, Panorama--I'll look into it. Even w/ shipping and all, it's still a good deal.

It's the Confederation of Helvetica! And you thought Helvetica was just a Mac font [;)].

Actually, I find it annoying when discographies use CN to represent Canada or OZ for AU, when they use the ISO standards for every other country.

Helvetica is named after the Helvetia, the city in Switzerland where the elegant typeface was designed in the 1950's.
