It's clear that the media is mourning the Michael Jackson of 1982. If the coverage continues like this, with every celebrity on earth coming out and blubbering into the camera about what a great guy Michael was, CNN will probably declare him a saint.

That said, I always liked "ABC".

Thank god the daily news ran some reality today. They talked about the porn evidence that he used to show the kids that slept over his house. Lets not forget reality people. I heard a woman being interviewed outside The Apollo theater saying a great african american icon was lost. I would say they lost him a long time ago when he turned white.

I don't think it is correct to say that Michael Jackson was the "King of Pop". I think his music fits more into the Rhythm & Blues genre. But he mixed R&B with styles like Disco, Funk, Soul, Blues and a bit of rock with the beauty that only genius performers can do. His worldwide popularity goes beyond other pioneers like Ray Charles and James Brown who were also his influences. His worldwide popularity is unimaginable, much bigger than Elvis, only comparable with Lennon.

Even though the 80s was his peak, I prefer his 70s era. One Day In Your Life, Rock With You, Ben, Off The Wall, We're Almost There, You've Got a Friend, etc are my favorites.

His 80s era was pure magic, full of unique dancing and music videos that resembled movies. This helped him become the #01 superstar that we will never have again in centuries.

He had such an electrified Talent and will be missed. I would have liked to have seen his upcoming tour. I'm sick of these bad jokes about him...I'm also sick of these so-called snake Doctors who over-prescribe drugs for every little problem...They should be targets of this so-called phony War on Drugs.
