You know what brings good karma? Sending me a new cd mix! Honestly, your cd's were the best I got. I love the slow, trippy music. It makes me feel mellow. And thats not easy.

I'm waiting for design femm to post a lesbian story. Wasn't it you that had the near miss at a wedding? Someone did.

I live by a code of ethics. Honor,trust, loyalty, all that good stuff. I'm not a sap or a push over at all, but I live by a code and would never break it. I feel that it actually empowers me or gives me good karma. But I expect the same from others and that doesnt always happen.
But I'm the type of guy that gives his word and it is gold. My bosses all love me for this.

I am highly germ phobic. If I even hear the details of a disease, I am sure I have it. I once went to the doctor because I thought I had the plague. Yep, the black death. I met a guy from the jungle and he said he knew a guy that had it.........I go to the doctor.

I wash my hands alot. If a person walking down the street sneezes, I can always picture the cloud of germs coming out and I hold my breath going by.

- I have seen Truffaut's [i]Les Quatre Cents Coups[/i] well over 100 times. The other movies that match that viewing record are Beresford's [i]'Breaker' Morant[/i], Smith's [i]Clerks.[/i], and Samperi's [i]Malizia[/i][:p] My all-time favourite movie is Tarkovsky's [i]Solaris[/i], though - and I've only seen that around a measly 10 times[V] (not counting specific scenes I've watched over and over).

- As a kid, I used to collect Japanese animation and comics (this was before it became huge in the late 90s). I had around 500 videcassettes and boxes of art books, comics, anime magazines, etc. Most of it was "raw" (i.e. in Japanese). I actually know how to read hiragana (except I don't know what it means![:I] ). I still have some of it; the rest I either sold, gave away, or dumped in the recycling bin.

I'm about half done with a couple new compilations, but they're on the back burner while I'm doing more important stuff. So you'll have to wait for the next installment of good karma [:)]. I'm glad my mixes are effective at lowering your blood pressure. I'm sure your coworkers and neighbors appreciate it, too. [;)]

Once, during a low point in my life, I abandoned my apartment, left all my belongings and moved to another city. At that point, most things incl. my vinyl collection meant nothing to me. Luckily, a couple of friends went to my apartment and grabbed many of my belongings, including my vinyl. When I returned a couple of years later, they gave them to me. Man was I glad to see those records again, many are irreplacable.

But I think they may have nicked a few for their efforts.

I need to see the original [|)] But the remake with George Clooney is certainly one of my favorite, favorite films. I thought I lost my copy once and went berserk trying to locate it to no avail so I actually went out and bought another one only to find the original a few weeks later, lol.....so now I have two.

Hey X, does'nt it make your heart sink to see such great movies selling on eBay for like $2.99? That's about how much I think I paid for a used copy of Solaris.

Hey Don...good for you. I drive a Toyota Sequoia and it ROCKS. It emits fewer toxins than my 1983 Monte Carlo ever did and did you know that the great majority of greenhouse gases come from Far East factories? I use clean natural gas to heat my house, I don't use aerosol cans and I planted three trees in front of my house so the all environmentalists can go scratch.

Phil, I'm kind alike that on subways. I avoid hanging onto the bars, poles and handrails. Plus, after I use a men's public restroom, I use the paper towel I dried my hands with to open the door. I don't think it's too freaky. I think it's sensible. Oh, and remind me to bring you a couple of discs when we hang out next month.

As far as massages go.....love 'em. I'll only give to certain people [}:)]

I missed this earlier, but wanted to comment on it.

I could give you a million dollar race car, and you would be a race car driver for all of 10 seconds until you put in the wall. Athletes are measured by more than just fast running or leaping ability. Split second timing and decision making while travelling at 200 mph., and enduring multiple G's for a couple of hours is athletic by any definition.

Is your definition of professional infallibility?

To clarify, when I said auto racing is not a sport, I did not mean that it requires no skill. I agree that it requires great skill and at great risk, and very few people are cut out for it. But I don't think of it as a sport in the same way as running, cycling, swimming, or playing basketball, which all require strength, flexibility, agility, and endurance on a very physically demanding level. After all, the driver is seated for the entire race. (hmmm, now that I'm thinking of it, I suppose car racing does involve some of these sporting qualities, especially in the long races...) I also don't think of hunting or fishing as sports. (I'm puzzled by the Olympic sport of biathlon--cross country skiing and shooting???) Granted, hunting and fishing are both activities that require skill (and luck), but they're not terribly demanding physically. How hard is it to sit in a deer blind for eight hours or in a boat all day and drink beer? [;)][:D] I meant no offense to car race fans.

I suffer from a huge lack of confidence/self esteem in everything from my personal life to my job to my looks.

I have never been hugged by my parents and they have never said that they love me. We don't talk anymore.

My favorite color is black, but I love purple, burgundy and pink, too.

Last week, I had to pay for a traffic ticket. I'm 32 and it was the first ticket I had ever received. When I went to pay for said ticket, I had to park using a parking meter. I had never used one before.

I grew up in a small town and am trying to adjust to living in a city. I like the shopping, the good restaurants, the entertainment and the energy, but I miss my friends so, so much. I'd give anything to spend another day with them. They think I have this great life out here and a really cool job--and I do. But I'm so motherf*cking lonely.

At last count, I owned 91 different lipsticks.

I like silver jewelry better than gold.

I bought the new J.Lo perfume Saturday, and while I don't like her work much, the bottle is adorable and I smell great. I keep sniffing myself.
