As many of you know, there was a problem with the board that resulted from a server reset early this morning around 6:00AM EST. It caused the board to go into a generic-looking mode with missing graphics. If any of you posted during this time, you may see your post accidentally assigned to moderator Spaz. I apologize for this glitch and I think I've figured out how it happened.

If you were on the board when this happened, can you contact me and let me know exactly what you experienced (e.g., any errors, etc.)?

Also, you may have noticed that after the last time this happened on Saturday April 1 (some April Fools, huh!), all members had the current date as their 'Last Post Date'. I have re-calculated the correct dates and post counts for every member, so all you "high rollers" don't freak if you see that your post count has suddenly gone down by a few percent. This has to do with deleted threads that no longer exist. I wanted to get the numbers back on track to more accurately reflect what's on the board as of this date.

I'm doing my best to deal with these issues as they arise.

One minute the board was normal--I signed off--went back on a few minutes later and got the funky board you mentioned--no error messages though.

The damn server glitches had me and the mods so confused we were beginning to think that Andy had struck again![xx(]

As for the outages, I've contacted my not-particularly-better-than-the-last web provider and they are going to look into upgrading the memory to alleviate the board problems. To the best of my knowledge, I've located the 'generic board' problem, so hopefully you'll just see an error message rather than mixed up posts and a wigged out looking board.

Where is Spaz anyway? He needs to pay us a visit ... for real this time![;)]

Okay, onto web host #3.[:o)] The last one just wasn't going to work out, with all the glitches. I was willing to try a Linux environment, but it just doesn't do ASP very well. You should see marked improvement in performance, and please please please let me know if you encounter any downtime!!!
